Ways to Support the Applegate Trails Association
• Donate money. Our greatest need for funding is to build the Applegate Ridge Trail (ART), starting with the 5.6 mile long East ART, which should break ground this fall. Depending on the digging we estimate it will take $1.50 or more per foot to build the trail or roughly $44,000 for the East ART. With grants and donations we are already 2/3s of the way there!
The Applegate Trails Association is a 501(c)3 organization and gratefully accepts tax deductible donations at any time. You can donate through this web site via our PayPal account:
You can also send donations to P.O. Box 105, Jacksonville, OR 97530.
Our expenses are modest. We operate on a volunteer basis, and there is no paid director.
• Participate in fundraisers. ATA will be putting on another Call of the Wild event on October 1, 2016. Would you like to teach a workshop, donate food or just help organize to make it a success? Another way to participate is just to SHOW UP and enjoy the delicious food and classes offered by our amazing volunteer teachers.
• Help us maintain trails. We need volunteers to help organize trail maintenance days and/or pitch in and clear and maintain trail. We also always need folks to take photographs – there are many ways to help!
• Donate food or dollars per mile for the Applegate Ridge Trail (ART) thru-hike this spring (more information to come on this event).
